This Site Is Killing Me

I swear this site has been nothing but headaches for the past couple of weeks. For whatever reason, the SSL decided to crap out and isn’t allowing folks to view unless you know the pass-through, which is bbg.squarespace.com - so bookmark that as a backup link if you can even read this.

Then the comments were disabled… even though they actually were globally enabled. Why? Because anonymous comments were turned off. Why? I literally have no idea. They were on when I pushed the site live.

Why is the SSL suddenly not working? Who the hell knows. Support surely doesn’t seem to know why or how to fix it. I bought another certificate which didn’t solve the issue.

Alas, I’m working on it and will sort it one way or another.

Maybe I should have stayed on the version of BBG! that didn’t want to load half the time. Hell, at least you could eventually view the site.
