‘X’Mas Time (It Sure Doesn’t Feel Like It)’

I was never really a Mighty Mighty Bosstones fan. It’s just not my type of music, but today I went on a coffee run at lunch and happened to flip satellite channels and caught the band’s song “X’Mas Time {It Sure Doesn’t Feel Like It)” and it sort of spoke to me. The song is on the 1997 release A Home For The Holidays which is a compilation album of Mercury Records artists and also includes Bon Jovi, Gloria Estefan and Boyz II Men.

From what I can tell, the compilation was only released on CD and money earned went to an addiction treatment charity.

Regardless of the relative obscurity of the Bosstones song, it seemed to fit my mood today. Maybe you like (or will like) it too. Have a listen.
