‘The Sword The Never Bends’

Happy Father’s Day to all the Glam dads out there, including my own - and Eric’s too!

I made a little happy discovery on YouTube last night. I stumbled across the new video from Imminence for the song “The Sword That Never Bends.” Now, Imminence are a Swedish metalcore outfit, so not Glam - BUT - the guitar action is straight out of a late 80s Whitesnake video. Just watch all the moves and that long hair swinging. The costuming doesn’t hurt either.

The video for “Sword” is basically castle metal - you know, Dio, Saxon, Manowar, etc. I love it, and I’m here for it.

Also, “The Sword The Never Bends” has a great breakdown (this is metalcore, after all) - and a blazing violin solo.
