The (Possible) Crue Fest 2 Lineup

A Kansas City radio station accidentally leaked the "apparent" Crue Fest 2 lineup. Here it is:

MÖTLEY CRÜE
GODSMACK
THEORY OF A DEADMAN
SAVING ABEL
DROWNING POOL

If this is the real lineup, I'm not surprised. I called Godsmack a long time ago and I still think that Charm City Devils will be on at least some bills, but who knows?

I just saw Theory Of A Deadman with Motley a couple weeks ago and that was pretty fun. I've never seen Saving Abel or Godsmack live. I saw a little bit of Drowning Pool during Rock on the Range 2008.

Of this group, I think I'm most interested in seeing Saving Abel. They seem to have the most Glam quality of the bunch, save Motley of course.

Here's some Saving Abel.

Addicted (edited version)

I'll admit this isn't my first choice of bands for Crue Fest, but like I said, I'm not surprised. The Last Vegas should probably be on the bill, but not sure if that will work out or not. In all honesty, I was hoping for Slipknot...but I know they don't come cheap, and money talks - especially when Live Nation is involved!

Hmmm, I might actually skip it this year. I loved Drowning Pool when I saw them last year, though. I have no interest in seeing Theory of a Deadman again, and never was much of a Godsmack fan. I've missed Saving Abel twice now by showing up late to a couple of shows, but I'm only familiar with "Addicted" anyway. I love the Crue, but I don't think I want to drop $40-50 on this lineup. I guess it depends on how much the tix are.

Why does the Crue keep on taking out all of these modern rock/alternative bands? I know it's all about the money...But I think bands like; Endeverafter, Dirty Penny and others would fit in better... In my opinion...

I wouldn't go. The only two bands id like to see i just saw them. Motley and Theory.
I'm really hoping for like the last vegas again and slipknot and shinedown. I would totally go to that

If this is the lineup that would be my 4th time seeing Saving Abel...wow, how come they play every show I go to? Lol.

Surprising Drowning Pool would be opening...I thought they would play after Saving Abel...

I didn't get to see the Crue play with TOAD, so that'd be cool, cuz I missed them two times and I'd like to see them.

Godsmack's okay, Sully's pretty cool. Wouldn't be surprised if they were on the lineup.

...If this is the lineup, than last years lineup was better. Minus Trapt, ick.

Of all the bands there.....motley is the only one i would go see. I like godsmack but not enough to waste a few hundred bucks to go see. im going, even if this is the line up, because i want to see Motley as many times as i can.

I thought the last vegas was goin on Cruefest wasn't that the whole point of that competition?

I'm sorry tp say, but this is a horrible line-up. Really. Motely and Godsmack are the only good bands here... but it doesn't matter how much I whine, because I know I'm still gonna be seeing them anyway lol.

this is one of the worst lineups for a festival I have ever seen.

I am surprised to see Godsmack because they are good enough live to headline on their own. I saw them open for Metallica and then headline on their own and they are a good show to see. However, I don't think I will go to see Crue again after last year...the whole atmosphere was just weird and the music got lost in it!!!

The last Crue Fest SUCKED, this one will as well, Crue has sold out completely. If they gave a damn about their real fans, they'd do a Shout at the Devil 09 tour and bring out other bands from their day and not this crap. It's all about the dollar.

i am with you guys. godsmack has a few good songs but i already saw alice in chains in the early 90's. the other bands totally suck. maybe they should just skip this year...and i agree with whoever wrote that the atmosphere at cruefest was weird...but it will be worse with this lineup, yikes.

WHATEVER - it does not matter who plays with the CURE - they ROCK and ALWAYS WILL I would pay ANY price to see them - the rest is just icing on the cake - NIKKI ROCKS!!!! The CRUE NEVER disappoints -

Theory of a Deadman rocked at SOLA tour - I cant wait .....

Could be fun. I've seen Theory of a Deadman and Saving Abel live, and they both kick ass. Especially Saving Abel, I saw them with Buckcherry, Papa Roach and A7X and they made the show for me. Given last year's line up, they both fit right in. I've never been a huge fan of Godsmack or Drowning Pool but in my eyes at least to see TOAD (haha, their initials are toad) and Saving Abel an oh yeah, FUCKING MOTLEY CRUE!!!

I'm on the fence. I saw Godsmack and Theory of a Deadman at separate shows when they were headliners. Great live bands! I was at Cruefest last year and Motley was a let down. It seemed that there was music piped in over the speakers. Background vocals as well. It sounded too much like a cd. Also, Vince Neil is old and fat. He was running around so much he was out of breath. He would only get half of the verses out of his mouth because he was trying to heave in a breath. If I go, it'll be because of Godsmack, Theory and to party with my friends. Out.

Sixx: A.M.

I am thinking that the reason that the crue has this line up at this years fest is that last years line up in my opinion blew crue off the stage,Buckcherry and papa roach and even sixx am murdered the crowd i was it, pnc bank in NJ,we were all tired of the crue and their many breaks after 3 or 4 songs,if they cant stand the riggers of a rock and roll show without taking water or rest breaks than do a farewell show,i love the crue but i will not go to this years fest, i will spend my concert money elsewhere.
