The Perfect Glam Tune for American Idol

I know a lot of people that read this website don't like American Idol. I also know damn good and well that a lot of you do watch...and you often criticize the contestant's song choices.

I know I do.

Sometimes the songs chosen are just...odd. Other times, American Idol forces contestants to stick to a theme, like Broadway or country. One time, contestants had to perform Bon Jovi tunes - and believe me, that week was fun. For the most part, though, it's the same old R&B tunes over and over.

Thus, I have to decided to list my pick for the perfect Glam American Idol tune.

What is it? "Wheels" by Enuff Z'nuff.

Now, you might be thinking "What the hell?" but trust me, this is a brilliant choice. The song is awesome and it works for either a man or a woman. It's not impossible to sing, but it does have a great build which is huge for Idol. Plus, I'm 99.9% certain no former contestant has chosen an Enuff Z'nuff tune - at least in the live portion of the competition.

I bet you've never seen the video for "Wheels." It's my favorite Enuff Z'nuff tune. Here you go. Watch and love.

Never seen american idol and i refuse to watch the UK version - pointless talentless rubbish. Shows like this kill the real music scene - Simon Cowell is the Pop version of the devil.

i agree it sucks but i happened to catch last weeks show and this rocker guy adam lambert maybe? well he did the stones - satisfaction and it was like the most amazing performance of that song or any song ive seen in a long long time. Im prob. gonna start watching the show because of him.

Yeah, I watch. I don't know why. But that Adam Lambert guy is by far my favorite. I have watched many seasons of American Idol and I've always wanted to see someone with that kind of a voice. I love it. Also, I agree that there should be many more glam songs on the show. So many of them would be beyond perfect. Pick a power ballad. Pretty much every single one of them would be amazing. I don't understand how they don't choose them.

ugh. American idol is the american equivalent of X-factor right?
Because I HATE X-factor with a passion, it sucks ass. Im not gonna go on a rant about how and why right now though.

If I did it, i'd pick In a Darkened Room by Skid Row, or Always by Bon Jovi.

But yeah like Steffan said, any Power Ballad would work.

A contestant did Donnie Vie's Wasing Time in the US version during the auditions.

Simon Cowell said the song was awful and he'd never heard of it. Shame as its one of the best ballads that DV has ever done, if not the best.

These Dayz might be a better choice IMO.
