Halestorm is a modern Metal band with a definite arena-rock appeal. I recently spoke with singer/guitarist Lzzy Hale about the band for the exclusive premiere of their "I Get Off" video a couple days ago. The band is so good, I decided to share with all of you as well. Let me know what you think.

This is pretty good! Very different from Lita Ford's style of Metal but good nonetheless. The singer's good and the drummer's got skills as well.

I just ordered this CD, I wish we'd caught them at ROTR.

Great band - hard to believe they were picked up by a major label. Maybe the majors are FINALLY getting it (i.e. stop feeding the masses crap cuz they won't buy it).
Hail Halestorm.

Very good band. Sounds like the rock record that Kelly Clarkson SHOULD make.

Sure she's a great singer ... Vocal lessons from the GREAT Steve Whiteman and some "frontman" skills on top ...

Im still pissed that Mr. Hale got my roadcase and has never paid up with a cd ... thats all ... a cd

I have had the pleasure of knowing HalestorM for over 6 years now. When they were still playing small clubs to 10 people here on the east coast is when I knew them. The last time I got to see them was thier local going away party when they signed with Atlantic IN 2005. One of my favorite memories of the band is when they had to practise at the last minute for a show at a local firehouse and they used the barn of a local chicken farmer. Man that was something else and then also eatting a local diner with them at 3am after show in Delaware.

Halestorm is a great band that almost sound watered down on their debut for Atlantic. ITS NOT YOU, I GETT OFF and BET YOU WISH YOU HAD ME BACK are the best songs. If you can, track down their indie stuff from 2003 to 2005 and you will hear what the band is really about esp. DON'T SAY A WORD and PIECES.

I loved the song but my whole family is interested to find out if Izzy Hale is related to either Pat Benatar or Paul Stanley of KISS?
