James Durbin Picks Dirty Penny Bassist

Oh snap! James Durbin just announced his bassist is none other than Tyler Molinaro (you may know him as Tyno) from Dirty Penny! His guitarist is Dylan Rosenberg from the band Archer. In case you don't know, all three guys live in the Santa Cruz, California area. The addition of Tyno greatly increases the chances of a Durbin Glam record. Yes!

The fact that TYNO is in the band makes me actually have more interest in Durban now. I MISS DIRTY PENNY!! I have to admit, the more I hear about Durban the more I like his voice (NO, i'm not an american idol fan either). Love the fact he's waving that METAL flag! I am anxious to hear how his record turns out.

He should have his last name chromed and call his band Durbin.

It's great he's gotten these players to join him. Now, let's hear the Glam Metal!

What sucks is that the Durbin single that's out on iTunes is very Nickelbacky unfortunately. I was hoping for more of a glam/metal type album considering he worships Hardcore Superstar but it's very commercial which I expected.

I'm with Armpit. Too Pop du Jour. Too Modern Rock. After all the buy in from the audience for the complete "Metal" treatment, doesn't he and the Record Machine realize to go with what he and his audience knows and that is HOW TO ROCK.

It's gotta be more Rock'n'Roll! More Glam Metal. That's what he is! Let him do his thing! Typical mistreatment and mishandling of the artist by his handlers and the record company.

This guy damn near won the whole thing with his Metal schtick and they gotta neuter him as soon as he's off the air.

It's B.S. of the first order.

As usual, more often than not, it's the brass powertrippin', thinkin' they know the audience better than the artist.
