Who Will Be the New Singer of Velvet Revolver?

So Jimmy Gnecco of Ours was rumored to be the new singer of Velvet Revolver, but apparently that is off now. Duff McKagan swears Velvet Revolver will have a new singer by the end of the year, but the last time I looked at the calendar it was November... and time is ticking.

I'm not sure what the deal is with Velvet Revolver. Either it's really hard for the guys in the band to replace Weiland, or Slash and Company have impossible expectations.

I keep thinking Velvet Revolver will get it together soon and release a new album. Can you imagine if the band really did pick a new singer and record something fast? Velvet Revolver could theoretically be available for the summer festival season. I'd love to see them. At least, I think. A new singer will essentially make the band brand new again. Let's hope the band makes the right choice when it comes to picking the guy/gal behind the mic.

Who do you think should sing for Velvet Revolver?

Is Jizzy Pearl available..?

It's about the only band he hasn't been with.

I think Joe Leste' of Bango Tango would be a perfect fit.

Does it really matter anymore? Oh hell, might as well be Ripper Owens. He is in like 17 other bands.

There is only one choice and it is very possible: Todd Kerns

Todd's not a bad suggestion, that first Sin City Sinners album's got some really good songs on it and I dig his vocals.

Huck Johns. Joe Delaney. Eric Dover. Tim Karr. Those are a few of the guys I would like to see in the mix.

I bet the Corey Taylor rumors will start back up. With their bass player dying I know Slipknot is uneasy about recording again.
If they get a young guy it will make the band look old and desperate for relevancy.

who cares they sounded just like STP anyways, change the name and get a new singer.

Hahaha!!!, Gary! Too bad I can't sing my way out of a paper bag and never could. Just ask my ex-lead guitarist!

I saw these guys point blank twice and they were pretty good. I always thought the stuff was kinda Generock, meaning Generic Rock, though. Nothing all that special.

They not only need a great singer, but someone who's a great songwriter, too!

Why not that kid from American Idol?, hahaha!!! The whole thing has always felt like a money grab, so what the h*ll.

Probably Corabi makes a lot of sense but when did sense ever figure into the equation of such deals?

Jeff Scott Soto? Graham Bonnet? Or how about that dude from Wildside or the dude from Julliet. Or, here's a cool one -- the dude from Rock City Angels. Yeah, nobody's heard of 'em and I can 't even remember their names, forgive me, but they all got voices with b*lls o' steel!
