Vince Neil Hosts 15th Annual Skylar Neil Memorial Golf Tournament

For those interested, details on Vince Neil's annual Skylar Neil Memorial Golf Tournament are below.

SIMI VALLEY, CA - March 21, 2011 - Mötley Crüe front man Vince Neil will host the 15th Annual Skylar Neil Memorial Golf Tournament on Saturday, May 7th at the Pete Dye and Fred Couples designed Lost Canyons Golf Club in Simi Valley, California. All of the proceeds from the event will again benefit Neil’s Skylar Neil Foundation, created in memory of his young daughter Skylar, who succumbed to a long battle with cancer in 1995. Since it’s inception, the Skylar Neil Memorial Golf Tournament has raised well over a million dollars to fund research and treatment for childhood illness and disease. Those efforts have been assisted in large part by the generous contributions of corporate sponsors such as Quality One Wireless, Budweiser, Thrifty Car Rental, Monster Energy, Crocs Shoes, Star Die Molding, Oneota Ranch, Taylor Made, HP Plastics, Callaway Golf, EA Sports and more. Numerous other companies, such as Pin-Up Golf, Hooters, Jägermeister, Playboy, Hustler Hollywood, Déjà Vu, Hawaiian Tropic, Bacardi, La Isla Bikini, and Leblon Mojito have generously provided promotional product, as well as assigned some very attractive company representatives to greet golfers on the golf course throughout the day.

Those who wish to participate in the tournament should visit to download and submit a player registration form. The cost to play is $450 per individual or $1800 per foursome, and there are several levels of sponsorship available, inclusive of foursomes. All individual and team entries are reserved with payment only, on a first come first served basis, as the event sells out very quickly.

Individuals or companies who are interested in sponsoring the tournament, or would like to donate items to participant gift bags, charity auction or raffle, should contact event coordinators Alan Koenig at, or Jon Scott at

Hate him. Drives drunk, abuses women, treats people horribly. Just and awful, awful human being.

I just recently attended the 15th annual SKYLAR NEIL CHARITY GOLF EVENT, hosted by VINCE NEIL of MOTLEY CRUE, I was truly amazed to meet the legendary VINCE NEIL,he was a very gracious host and was very generous with his time, he talked with me at length about all kinds of things and was a complete gentleman towards me and my beautiful wife charlene. THANK YOU to VINCE NEIL and the people who organized and volunteered their time to run the event, my wife and I had a great time and hopefully we will be returning for next years event. ROCK ON VINCE

I agree with all in the post above & personally have met & spent time with all except mick.... i too have been back stage of many groups i know, as well as several times on the original cruefest with sixx a.m, papa roach & buckcherry .... i had a GREAT time talkin & getting to know them. It is a GREAT thing vince is doing in the memory of his daughter. I recently lost my twins to being stillborn & almost lost my 16 YEAR old daughter in a major auto accident 4 days before Christmas 2010 & no one should have survived that accident, especially my daughter, as she took all the impact & just started walking again last month, although is still having to do a lot of physical therapy & neurology therapy because of her injuries.

So to all there jerks above bashing Vince because of things in his past as part of Crue, i say grow up, he LOST His Daughter & is doing something positive in her memory to help others. Try losing a child at any age & then perhaps you would not be bashing Vince for Taking their loss and turning it into something so wonderful in the memory of Skylar to help others.

Yes Vince Neil was loud and rowdy for years, but he is still a parent, who loves his children. The Skyler Neil Foundation, raises greatly needed money to help others. The pain of losing a child is never ending. He is doing his part. I hope the rest of us do ours. Love on Vince. Love on.
