Kix, Tesla, Cinderella to Play Monsters of Rock: The Voyage

There's another Glam festival on the horizon - and this one is on water. Monsters of Rock: The Voyage will sail February 25, 2012 out of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Kix, Tesla and Cinderella will headline the event.

Other bands already confirmed include Y&T, Black n' Blue, Firehouse, Lynch Mob, Stryper, Keel, Faster Pussycat and Bang Tango. John Corabi and Eric Martin will also give special performances.

The cruise is just three nights and will sail to the Bahamas and Key West. Right now, no word on pricing, but cabins are slated to go on sale June 13.

Nice to see the monsters of rock festival making a comeback. Though this is probably not the same fest that was propular in the 80''s still has the name. I think bands like Ratt, Motley Crue, Dokken ect..should also be involved.

Are these confirmed dates? There are none listed on the website yet(it still says Mid February 2012). We are trying to move things around to make this trip doable. Thanks!

Not to sound much younger than my 40+ years, but OMG!! THIS is the definitive rock cruise! Although I spent most of my 2010 vacation $$ to hit M3, I will start saving right now for the opportunity to attend this monumental event.
