The New 'Rock of Ages' Trailer Is Here!

I still don't know what to make of the movie adaptation of the musical Rock of Ages, but I'm willing to give it a fair shot. The movie stars Tom Cruise and will be in theaters June 15.

The new trailer looks amusing and I do agree, our music did inspire a generation... but I kept thinking that the entire trailer looks like a rip off of Rock Star. Maybe I'm wrong... I hope I'm wrong, because I want Rock of Ages to be a huge hit. Maybe some people will be exposed to our beloved Glam if that happens, right? Plus, the soundtrack is awesome!

This movie is a godawful rip off and spit on the plot of apretty good musical. They changed the plot and i think thats a horrible idea. Plus they "hollywooded" in up and they ruined it. not a fan.

they did make it a little too cheesy in my opinion but not bad at all. Tom actually sounded good singing! It may be funny since Russell usually is and hopefully it makes some of the bands album sales go up!

Being promoted as the "Music of our Generation"?? More like the Lyrics of our Generation....the whole "Glee" aspect is what will kill this movie. This should be a straight to DVD release. It is going to tank epically.

What Jeff said. This should be the "Burlesque" of 2012, meaning you can put all these big stars in one movie & still come up with the biggest, flashiest, stinking turd.

Looks absolutely awful! I like that story, though it has been done before, but don't think I can sit\listen through the bad karaoke lip synching or whatever they are doing.
