Bret Michaels, 'Get Your Rock On' -- New Video
Bret Michaels has a new video for his single "Get Your Rock On." The song is from the album of the same name. The song also features Phil Collen of Def Leppard and Sal Coz Costa of My Darkest Days.
I have to say, I don't quite get this video. Why does it look so cheap? I'm sure Bret has a decent video budget... but the production isn't great. Also, the face-cam sort of freaks me out. Anyway, have a look and let me know what you think.

Thank God a song with a title like this actually does Rock! Well, at least the music does. Finally Michael's jumps on the bandwagon with a nod to the sound that originally made him famous (music wise).
Now if he could just take a cue from RATT and L.A. Guns (Phil Lewis) and get POISON together to make a legit album. But no sing-songy sh*t!
In the meantime, can we get somebody to cover this song who can actually sing? And write lyrics -- seriously, Jaegar Bombs? New heights of the lowest of low in the idiotic lyrics department.
Some of what I just said is what is keeping today's music so crappy. Who's actually competing or striving to be better than anyone else in the business? Today bands are just desperately trying to get the fan to buy their stuff without even thinking of being better than any other band out there. The quality of writing will only go up if their is a solid business with fierce competition like back in the mid to late 80's.
