Aerosmith, 'Music From Another Dimension' -- Official Trailer

Aerosmith recently released a teaser for their new album Music From Another Dimension, due November 6th. The teaser makes that Geoff Tate EPK I posted yesterday look even worse. Look, I realize that Aerosmith and Geoff Tate are running two different economies of scale, but come on. The Aerosmith teaser below is top-notch and makes me even more excited for the new album. The band is doing webisodes about the "making of" the album as well, and you can watch episode one here.

Awesome. this gets me hyped for the new CD! If the rest of it if HALF as good as Legendary Child, this will be epic.

Tom Hamilton's voice? What happened? Was he inhaling helium?
He doesn't sound like that!

To be honest, nothing I've heard of this, excites me much, but I'll be buying it anyway... I have every Aerosmith CD & they all have at least something worthwhile on 'em.

And the recent tour was still excellent.

I'm not expecting much but as Ace says, there is usually at least SOMETHING good on every album, i.e. "Jaded" on 'Just Push Play' or "Shut Up And Dance" on 'Get A Grip', two otherwise lackluster albums.

p.s. BTW, Steven Tyler, Aerosmith's fearless leader and brains behind the operation is a Democrat.

Followup: 2 months later, the CD is out, I picked it up @ Best Buy - $9.99 NOT A BAD PRICE. But remember that ballad "What Could've Been Love"? that I slagged? Sadly that is pretty much the best song on the record. This is the first time I've heard a whole Aerosmith album & thought "THIS SUCKS!".

Man, I am so disappointed. KISS's "Monster" Kills this!

BLAND BLAND BLAND BLAND ... I wish it wasn't so. Even for under $10, I feel ripped off. =(
