Vanity BLVD Releases Lyric Video

If you like Glam, then you'll probably dig Vanity BLVD. The female-fronted band is from Sweden. They are gearing up to release their second album in February. In the meantime, we have a lyric video of the track "Do or Die" to tide us over.

I'm not sure what the deal is with lyric videos these days. I guess they are cheap and easy to produce and therefore a good promotional trick. Either way, I hope Vanity BLVD has a good run with their next release Wicked Temptation.

Not too bad. Have they changed to an all female band since the photos for this lyric video was put together? Looks like a couple dudes for sure.

No, it's not an all female-band. It's female-fronted. I mis-wrote. Post vacation fog. Fixed!

I love all the newer glam bands and I am not trying to bash. But some creativity in the rock scene today wouldn't hurt.... I mean I love the 80s and glam as much as anybody here. But newer bands just sound exactly the same. That is why I like Black Veil Brides as much as I do, they wear and show the influence but make it their own....sorry rant over.

I'm with DJ.

Black Veil Brides will appear high on my "Best of 2013" list because they don't just wear their Glam Metal influences on their sleeves (literally), they also take them to a totally original place by combining them with their very own "Modern Metal" sensibilities.

Everybody in the Peanut Gallery (also known as "Comments"), get your "Best of 2013" lists ready!

p.s. Oh, and as far as Vanity BLVD go, they're pretty good, though a little straight up. Gotta give 'em props for at least keepin' it
Rockin'!
