Rock Car

Yesterday, on my way to work, I saw the coolest car ever. It was a purple PT Cruiser with the Aerosmith logo on the back window. Upon further inspection (I was right behind the car at this point) the license plate also said Aerosmit 1.

I followed the car down the road a little, until it turned off into an apartment complex. I contemplated pulling in beside the car, obviously curious about the owner. I mean, I'll talk about Aerosmith to anyone, anywhere. I figured I better not just approach a stranger. I mean, stalkerish, right? Plus I was already running late for work.

It's pretty rare for me to see band stickers on cars and trucks around here. I mean, once in a blue moon, I'll see a Pantera sticker, but that's about it. How about you? Ever see band stickers on cars? Do you have a band-related license plate?

PT cruiser is quite possibley the most ugly car ever designed, good on the guy being an aerosmith fan but jeebus he should get a better car.

I have a kix sticker on my car. If I could, I'd make my car look like my battle jacket

I had a Def Leppard license plate (black with red lettering) on the front of my black 1987 Chevy S-10 Truck (keeping it 80s all the way!). The truck's long gone, but I still have that license plate. I remember buying the plate through a Rockabilia ad in Metal Edge Magazine years ago. Ahhh, good memories!

A buddy of mine had a beautiful white 1969 Camaro and his vanity plate read 'GR8 WHT'. He is a huge fan of Jack Russell and the crew.

I'm getting ready to retire my WNGRNUT plate--when Kip Winger had a forum on his website, I'd created the term "Winger Nut" to describe the group. Unfortunately some people think I'm into politics as a right or left winger (not either!) or that I drive a Honda Gold Wing. New plates are going to be regular letters but a picture of a train bridge...well, my nickname comes from a railroad mascot. ;)
I'm keeping my old plates and will try to get the guys in Winger to sign them one day, I hope. I did see that done several years ago--the girl had WINGER1 or something like that. :)

I never had a band on the back glass or bumper but I did fly double KNAC 105.5 stickers in the back of my 85 Dodge Ram. Anyone from the Orange County or Los Angelas area will get it. KNAC was the best radio station ever for metal heads!
