Gret Van Fleet Wins Grammy

The album From The Fires is now a Grammy winner for Greta Van Fleet. The band won the award last night. I didn't watch much of the Grammy ceremony myself. I'm still sick so I was asleep for most of the show. I did see Alicia Keys play two pianos at once, which was cool. And Diana Ross struggle in a giant red dress. I don't remember anything else.

Love all types of music, but c'mon that wasn't the Grammy's incorporating all facets of music.

No question, Greta Van Fleet are well deserving of their Grammy.

There were many fine moments during last nights telecast but did you see Brandi Carlile? She absolutely stole the show! Even the Rappers joined in the standing ovation. Absolutely STUNNING!:

What? No Jethro? They were robbed!!!

Good for the young lads. I mean them no ill will. It's not like this sort of talent show has run its course. You wouldn't want to nod to old acts. So nod to new ones. Next in line, you will be right in time for the next event. Demographics demand their pound of Twitter flesh!! You shall be sated!!!

Speaking of hip, current, shows . . . did you see the Grammy Red Carpet Interview with Ghost (hint: it was Tobias, sans makeup, not the entire band)? It is well worth your two minutes, even if you end up hating them more! He was gracious, funny, and respectful. That said, the two interviewers could have been talking to a lump of clay. They were clueless. I found it very hilarious.
