Seeing Vince Neil Live

Who here has seen Vince Neil live recently? It's probably been three years since I've done one of his solo shows. That show wasn't great, but maybe Vince is tighter live now? Seeing Vince live is the only way to hear the Motley Crue songs we love in concert these days.

My other question is this: why does Vince always wear the same black tank, chain and jeans at each show?

Easy, cuz he’s fat and lazy. He gave up on life a while ago.

And fat shaming.

Saw him at a casino a year ago. He sounded alright, was fairly energetic and had decent crowd interaction. Good not great but I was thoroughly entertained! His band is very solid (Slaughter minus Mark Slaughter), and especially drummer Zoltan Chaney is worth the price of admission all by himself. Only real negative - for me - is I soooo wanted to hear some solo stuff. I knew it wasn’t going to happen, but it’s too bad he’s given up on that. His first solo album has some really good songs on there.

I’ll bite Allyson (see what I did there?)

1.They hide the spaghetti sauce stains

2.Louie Anderson refuses to loan him any clothes

3.He ate the rest of his wardrobe

4.That ensemble is now so tight it’s physically impossible to remove

5. Elvis bought all the cool fat guy clothes in Vegas years ago

I've seen him solo twice in the past two years. Even though hes let himself go health wise he sounded great the first time I saw him, and he was interactive and energetic. The second time i saw him he didnt sound that great and was lazy and unenergetic, the band had to make up for it.
I'd go see him again if the price was decent and I'd wish hed play some stuff off of Exposed which is actually a really great album. I also hope he records some new solo material, but I dont see that happening. He could also at the very least change up the setlist and play a few Crue deep cuts and other songs, but again I dont see that happening.

Not only do I agree with you guys about Exposed but he should also play a few tracks off of Carved In Stone & Tattoos & Tequila! Calm down with the Crüe tracks though, lazy ass. You’re embarrassing to the brand, & this is coming from a 20+year Crüehead. 🤘🏼

if you paid me $100, I still wouldnt go see this abysmal, embarrassment that care less for his fans and mails it in for a paycheck and the free wine and buffett backstage

I totally agree with you Steverox Zoltan is freaking amazing! Actually, Allyson and I saw him on the Motley Cruise years back. That's where I met her and hubby.

Yeah, Neil is headed for that big buffet in the clouds, if he doesn’t cool it fast.

If he would just get it together, knock off the booze, get in shape and get in the rehearsal room to work up the “Exposed” hits, making it unanimous with you guys, and deeper Crüe cuts (haha!!), he would be pleasantly surprised at the results.

And by results, I mean bigger venues, more energy to perform the whole set without the “intermission”, more money from those bigger venues because he would put on more of a show, drawing larger crowds, and all the fresh organic veggies he could ever want at the Whole Foods organic salad bar, though you still need portion control, even with THAT stuff.

I should know, boyz ... I went from 198 lbs. down to 178 lbs. in less than a month eating healthier, cutting out the booze (10 lbs., right there) and exercising, something Neil would be doing effortlessly and more energetically virtually every night across the stage.

p.s. I once heard his guitarist lament he would love to do some of the great songs off “Exposed” but when they tried it, they didn’t feel a response from the audience. But that was awhile ago. I mean, c’mon, the audience today would go nuts for “Your Invited (But Your Friends Can’t Come)”? I think, like you guys, there would be way more of an appetite (ouch!) for it now! Neil should plain be more proud of his work and have the guts (ouch, again!) to put it out there again!

Vince is the reason I stopped going to see Motley. The last time he sounded decent live was Generation Swine tour.

Saw him 2 years ago. It was a fun show. Was he perfect? No, but Motley never was a perfect band either. And yes, he was wearing his uniform, lol! I'll be seeing him again in October at the Bergen Performing Arts Center in NJ.
