Erik Grönwall Is Just Awesome

Erik Grönwall is the current singer for Skid Row. The man has a crazy set of pipes and can hit all the notes and more - with no effort. Now he has released a cover of Bon Jovi's "Livin' On A Prayer." Yea, it's one of the best rock songs of all time. It's also one of the most overplayed. Still, Grönwall kills it. Truly a pleasure to watch and listen!

New Hair Metal Documentary Coming To Paramount+

This is exciting! A documentary about the glam metal heyday of the 80s is coming to Paramount+ on July 18. It's called I Wanna Rock: The ‘80s Metal Dream. The documentary is in three parts and will feature members of Skid Row, Winger, Twisted Sister, Vixen and The Scream (yes, John Corabi!)

Skid Row just announced more tour dates with Buckcherry, too. Tickets for the 14 new dates go on sale Friday. As a matter of fact, one of the added dates is in my neck of the woods!

The Best Videos Of 1989 - '18 and Life'

Perhaps one of the greatest rock debut albums ever, Skid Row came out in 1989. Skid Row was smart in just going with the self-title for their debut. It helped brand them and the album seamlessly - and with the beautiful Sebastian Bach at the helm and amazing songs to boot - success was all but inevitable.

There are so many great tracks on Skid Row, but I think the best video + song combo is "18 and Life." The video matches the story of the song - and each band member gets a chance to be a star against a black backdrop. What could be better?

Skid Row's New Track 'Time Bomb' Is Catchy

I have to give Skid Row credit: their new music is solid. It doesn't sound like the old days exactly, but it is good for sure. "Time Bomb" is the latest Skid Row single from the upcoming album The Gang's All Here, due October 14. An official video for "Time Bomb" is coming next week.

I like the chorus - it is snappy. A good foot-tapper.

'Tear It Down' - Skid Row

I'm catching up on... everything and I see that Skid Row released a new song while I was at sea. "Tear It Down" is one hell of a catchy tune! The song will be on the upcoming album The Gang's All Here. I think "Tear It Down" is the best Skid Row song in about 20 years. New vocalist Erik Gronwall sounds amazing. All that said, the video clip itself is pretty bad but what matters is the music.

I can't get the chorus out of my head! I wish Skid Row much success with this new effort.
