Over the weekend, the promoters behind the Monsters of Rock Cruise announced more bands for the March 2015 sailing. Here's the updated lineup. Reservations will open soon, but book fast - the cruise is always a sell-out!
I just emailed my former mentee that I took to rocklahoma, (today is his birthday, btw) and asked him whether he would want to go to this. He doesn't have a lot of money, but I'm thinking that with a year notice and some help, we might be able to pull it off.
He really made tremendous progress throughout the years and is so well loved as evidenced by the wonderful posts on his facebook wall. He deserves something like this as he NEVER had opportunities like this growing up. He says that rocklahoma rocked his world...let's see what the MOR can do!
The Monsters of Rock Cruise picks up where the 2007 & 2008 Rocklahoma left off. Bands of the era that we all love so much. I am hoping 2015 I get to go. I made a friend online who already has another friend wanting to go so we are just searching for a fourth for our cabin. Fingers crossed. I'm ready to go.
and for all of you metalboys out there, I took my therapist's advice. I asked, how can I tell them that they are wrong? his response, "calmly and gently".
The Bucket is back along with Zebra, Atomic Punks and Babylon AD - I'm back for another round. Hopefully they go back to the smaller boat and upgrade the food just a bit. Overall a great time in great weather. PEACE OUT
Oh, and if I could trade Tesla, Queensryche, Winery Dogs, and Europe for one night of Van Halen with all the other bands - Done Deal. And please bring George Lynch onboard so he can team with Michael Sweet to bring the Dokken songs back to life. One can wish....
I want to personally and completely apologize to beth stern. right before she married howard, I went on a website and wrote something like, "wait until that cunt takes all of his money". boy, was I wrong. I thought by writing that I was protecting howard, but I was wrong.
you're thee best thing to happen to him. again, I'm sorry beth.
