More RATT Chaos

Well, Jimmy DeGrasso is out of RATT too, apparently. So now the only people in the band that we know of are Stephen Pearcy and Juan Croucier. I just don't see how this works, but whatever. The band will debut its new "lineup" on July 7 so we'll know how it all shakes out this weekend I guess.
RATT - Invasion Of Your Privacy
Spoke to Jimmy DeGrasso last night. He is no longer a part of Ratt and opted to move on. Stephen & Juan remain the sole original members. The new guitar players & drummer TBA but likely not in advance of first show

And two dudes i never heard of

I actually found it interesting that, relatively speaking, Blotz has kept pretty quiet as all of this has worked itself out. Yes, likely because he knows nothing. But that never stopped him before, even when it turned out he did know something. One waits for his next legal salvo. One hopes (not really) it does some good.
If the leaked lineup that Badland re-leaked is accurate, it does the remaining two no favors. They will end up playing to the same crowds Blotz did when his party machine rolled through towns a few years back. Actually, no, that is unfair. They will play to bigger audiences in slightly bigger venues because Pearcy is still out front. That is the free market of which Bob speaks. But it isn't necessarily a smart or discriminating one. Nor does it have to be.
And you are right, Bkallday. Ratt haven't really been relevant in a long time. They are certainly a legacy act that gets people excited. They released a solid album in _Infestation_. But, yes, not exactly burning up the charts or selling out arenas. And the thing is (I repeat): the clown leading this bus knows that, knew it, and still can't help himself from repeating the same mistakes (aided, no less, by all the rest of the originals who can't seem to keep the peace long enough to take advantage, limited though it might be, of the momentum they built up in recent years).
It would actually be good to hear Blotz vent for once. And, for once (in awhile), slurred keyboard scrapes notwithstanding, he would likely be entitled to bemoan what has become of Ratt.
