'Joy To The World'

Rob Halford loves his holiday tunes. His new album is Celestial, released a few months ago. I noticed his rendition of "Joy to the World" didn't have many YouTube views and that doesn't seem right. So let's get the numbers up, folks!

I am glad he loved recording with his family. I am also glad that it gave him some time to 'decompress'. That said, the album isn't very good, even if you are taking the cheese factor in good stride.

Granted, the self-proclaimed "Metal God" does this sort of thing as good as the next. But I am just not feeling it. Give me "Ram It Down My Chimney," "Yule Logs Are Gonna Roll," or "Eat Me Figgy Pudding Alive." Wait. Don't.
