Sebastian Bach To Perform 'Skid Row' On Tour In 2020

The album Skid Row just turned 30 and Sebastian Bach will celebrate by performing the entire album on tour in 2020. The tour starts in March and wraps up in May. Tickets and VIP packages go on sale December 20 via Bach's website. I think this would be something to see. Bach is always good live - very high energy and intense. I still get stressed when he swings that mic around inside small clubs. Someone will lose an eye one of these days!

18 and Life on Skid Row

One of these shows is coming very close to the overpass underneath which I live and breathe. I will likely go.

One correction: Sab doesn't always sound good. He certainly suggests he does. But, in past years, he seems to have been suffering from a bit of a delusion. If you doubt me, check the record. But, recently, he had made a noticeable effort to sound on point and to get himself in better shape.

Listen, I am not slagging Sab for a few extra pounds on his 50+ year old frame, or for losing a step or two when it comes to his vocals (recall, though, that video I had Allyson post of Skid Row back in the day!!!). But arguing you are nailing it when you aren't is a delusion. So I appreciate that he seems to be doing better these days. What he says now actually matches what he does. That is a good thing.

I remember seeing him and SR back in the (later) day, swinging that microphone and kicking Solo cups filled with who knows what (water?) into the audience. It was great. He seemed like a beautiful wreck of a man, hellbent on proving that a cute fellow was ready to entertain you and kick your tookus! Like Allyson, I can only imagine what a direct hit from an errant microphone would feel like. Push his Mom; you might find out!

Just finished Baz’s book. He’s an enigma. Dude is funny as shit, and knows (and admits) he can be a world class assclown from time to time. He’s also delusional about a lot of shit from my point of view ( which carries as much weight as a child’s balloon at a birthday party) All said and done the man had/has a set of pipes on him most vocalists would kill for. Rock on freaky dude. Rep those songs and do them justice, cause they were killer 👍

Agreed Gary. Baz even with what he has now, is still better than most of these wack ass lead singers these days. And he still puts on a hell of a show!

Love the tongue in cheek poking ‘fun’ at all these “anniversaries” which are simply a marketing gimmick. 31 is just as good a reason to rock the Skid Row album as 10, 20, 30. Happy 31st Skid Row!!!!! Here’s to The 31st & a 1/2 year anniversary as well. Rock on

What BK sez.

Though half his chops are blown out and he can’t sing at full throttle anymore, Bach still sounds better than most any Rock singer out there with all their vocal chords intact!
