‘2Big To Rig’

Well, now I really want to see Ghost live.

The band will release the concert film 2 Big To Rig on August 26. The film will even be in IMAX.

The recorded shows took place in Mexico City as part of the Skeletour World Tour, promoting the band’s most recent album SKELETÁ.

Nikki Sixx was probably dreaming of a set and show like this back in 1984. Motley Crue did what they could with the money they had at the time, and bands kept copying them and going a little further. This Ghost show looks like the epitome of a live horror-music dreamscape.

I still believe SKELETÁ is Ghost’s most Glam album to date. The band was always melodic and dramatic, but this all seems to take it to that next level. It’s so extra, and I love it.
