35 Years of Wacken Open Air

It’s still summer 2025, but festivals are already gearing up for next year. Case in point: Sonic Temple launched ticket sales Thursday (yes, I bought a pair) and Germany’s famed Wacken Open Air is now announcing bands for their 35th anniversary year.

Some bands already announced include Def Leppard, Europe and Lamb of God. Wacken tickets go on sale tomorrow.
