Do I Have Senioritis?

I’m a middle-aged lady, working a full-time job and yet I feel like I have senioritis. You know, that feeling when you’re at the end of high school / college / grad school and you just want to be done.

You are ready to move on, have some fun, take a break, or just do something different.

I definitely feel both jittery and disengaged. The only thing I feel like doing right now is reading and petting my cat. Maybe it is just an end-of-summer funk. I always get a little blue as summer winds down. I hate winter so much and the dark days, too.

Am I the only one who feels this way? I hope not. I don’t hide the fact that I have SAD. I guess I’m just worried it is starting earlier this year.

At any rate, it seems like the right time to post “Rose of Summer” from Judas Priest.
