Farewell Mick Ralphs

We’ve lost another one. Guitarist Mick Ralphs of Mott the Hoople and Bad Company fame has passed. He was 81.

I am glad Bad Company will finally be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and that Mick knew this before his passing. He was a legendary and extremely talented musician - hanging in with the likes of fellow guitar god David Gilmour.

One of his most famous songwriting credits is from Bad Company and their hit “Can’t Get Enough.”

Ralphs suffered a debilitating stroke in 2016 of which he never recovered. Complications from that stroke lead to his death. You probably know the members of Def Leppard are huge Hoople fans - so it is no surprise they did some nice tributes to him last night. First on social media and then on stage.
