Sonic Temple Set Times Released

Sonic Temple is a four-day festival that starts next Thursday and it takes place at Crew Stadium in Columbus, Ohio. It's a pretty huge event with masses of humanity everywhere. Earlier this week I mentioned I was waiting on the set times and now they are here! I am only going Friday because I wanted to see Metallica. Alice Cooper and Rob Zombie are nice adds for me as is Hatebreed and Upon A Burning Body.

I also love that there is an ASL interpreter for some bands, including the main three acts of the day. I cannot wait to see this person absolutely kill it during Metallica's set.

Alice Cooper, 'Black Mamba' -- New Music

Here we go! The first new music from the reunited, original Alice Cooper band is here. The track is called "Black Mamba" and just listen to that groove! This is old school, ya'll and it is magnificent. The song will be on the upcoming album The Revenge of Alice Cooper.

I'm seeing Alice live next month - I wonder if I will get this track in the set?

'The Revenge Of Alice Cooper' - Reunion Album, New Music!

Surprise live reunions over the past several years and a couple new songs here and there have pointed to this all along, but here we are: the original Alice Cooper band has reunited for an album of new material! Yes, the record even features the late guitarist Glen Buxton! Buxton died in 1997, so this means Alice Cooper dug deep into the archives to find some unused tracks of his playing to include here. A very nice touch.

There are listings for the release on Amazon, but you can't purchase yet. It is possible the Amazon details were published early and got ahead of the band. Also, the official Alice Cooper socials shared a bit of a teaser for the release. See below.

Since Alcohol Causes Cancer

Earlier today, the U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy issued a new warning linking alcohol consumption to preventable cancer. It's a timely promotion for Alice Cooper, then, to back an alcohol-free whiskey. 

The brand is WhistlePig. I've never heard of it, but honestly, I might give it a whirl. I enjoy an old-fashioned from time to time. That said, I'll pass on the snake.

It's election day in America. You've probably heard a thing or two about this mentioned on the news lately. (But seriously. Why do American campaigns have to last two freaking years? It's ridiculous).

Alice Cooper and his wife call Arizona home and the state is knife-edge close if the polls are accurate. Do you think Alice Cooper has what it takes to pull off the win?

It Really Is Halloween

I've been having one truly bonkers workday. It is certainly living up to Halloween - at least where I'm concerned. It's like everyone has gone batty or something and all at once, too.

Anyway, since it is Halloween, there's nothing better than spinning some Alice Cooper while passing out treats. Or while working. Or running. Or even just sitting around.

Alice Cooper, Rob Zombie Announce Tour

It's approproately called "Freaks on Parade" because Alice Cooper and Rob Zombie are heading out on tour together. Even better, Filter and Ministry and joining them on the road, too! Tickets on sale next Tuesday!

This is a late summer run so I sort of wonder if earlier dates will be added, but we will see. Regardless if there is a date near you, my advice is to go. I've seen every act on this bill live and they are all awesome - especially Cooper of course!
