‘Without You’ - Steelheart Version

Back when I was in middle school, Mariah Carey’s version of the Badfinger song “Without You” became a massive hit. The video was simple with her standing on stage in all black. The song was always all about the vocal emotion. Oddly, Miljenko Matijevic recorded the song at the same time, so he (and thus Steelheart) never released their version.

That changed today with the release of Steelheart’s take on “Without You” and yes, there’s a full orchestra.

All these years later and Matijevic still has the pipes. Beautiful.
