Anyone Been to ZRock Festival?

So, I get all sorts of updates from the Z Rock Festival. Interesting since I've never attended the event. I'm sure that some PR person somewhere picked up my blog and grabbed my email address. This is great, actually, because I get lineup announcements.

Speaking of lineups...Z Rock Fest has a very diverse band selection. Here's the lineup so far:

 
WIG WAM, TONY HARNELL, STORMZONE, JOHN WAITE, BIG NOIZE, VON GROOVE, EDEN , NEWMAN, LEC ZORN with more acts to be announced. 

If you're not familiar, Z Rock Fest happens in England during the last weekend in May. 

Z Rock is a hard rock label over in Europe. They have quite a lot of Glam bands on their roster, including Britny Fox, Black n' Blue, Jani Lane and the like.  You might want to give them a look because I suspect there are some cool albums to discover courtesy of Z Rock. Visit them here.

Back to the festival. The tickets to the two day event are pretty cheap, so it might be a fun time if you're in the U.K. this summer. If only it didn't cost a mint to fly to England from the U.S...

It's true: it appears Tyketto is not playing this festival. Eden is supporting Tyketto and this is mentioned in the same press release.

Bummer. Tyketto is a good festival add. Sorry for the confusion.

That looks great! It's cool that they have a lot of the more "obscure" bands....You should really check out Von Groove as well Allyson!

I saw Tyketto live with House of Lords and White Lion....what a great show....they played the whole debut album...Amazing...I loved....

And Wig Wam is my favorite today's band together with Crashdiet and Brother Firetribe

It's a good choice for England summer!!!!

Tyketto are not playing at Z-rock - they have just played Firefest & are only scheduled to play 2 shows in UK next year, one is at JB's but it is January not at Z rock.

Only bands confirmed for Z rock are:

Friday May 29th: WIG WAM, TONY HARNELL, STORMZONE

Saturday May 30th: JOHN WAITE, BIG NOIZE,VON GROOVE, EDEN, NEWMAN, LEC ZORN

Z rock line up has been known to vary from the advertised - sometimes at short notice, so be wary of making any special trips.

Tyketto is a good festival add - they sure are, so I wonder why Rocklahoma wouldn't even return their calls and mails when they tried to get on the bill?

I went years ago, when Danny Vaughn (solo at the time) headlined. Was a good time...the guy who owned Z Records at the time (and may still?) was not looked upon favorably by a lot of people though (i'm sure if you google z records scandal you can find out what I mean :(
