Your No.1 choice is perfect and I totally agree. You are the best!

Cool list. BVB is actually one of my favorite bands right now, so you have the list reversed in my opinion. A joke cannot be #1, they do not honor the era, they rape it for thier own benefit.

I am pretty sure that I texted you about Bad City from a show, glad to see them on the list.

I would add Burn Halo to the list as a band that is influenced by the 80's [metal more than glam] and is evolving the sound.

I can't log on to Noisecreep right now for some reason, but I can't imagine anyone better than Crashdiet. Based on who is missing from you list and Metal Dad's comment, I think I know who you picked, and I agree that they shouldn't be there (at least not #1). I would also move up The Last Vegas a few spots...I'm really into them..."Love Me Bad" is just an *awesome* tune.

BVB? Ugh! Terrible! Those guys suck major ass. Your pick for #1 is dead on though. I dont know how anybody can hate on the Panther.

I would have Panther at #10. I don't think the parody of a genre should be first.
I think Bad City is the best of all these bands.
Am I the only one that thought you were going to put Asking Alexanfria #1.You have featured them 14,000 this summer so I thought they would be up top.

Number one is beyond a joke; any band that parodies music that is not a joke to me I can not like.

Disagree with Lynam too.

All the others are killer and glad to see Gemini Five made the list. Other considerations should be Axident Avenue (on the strength on a single album alone) and Wig Wam.

Scratch Lynam and add Hansel. Hard to believe Hansel isn't on your list.

Also, Vains Of Jenna need to be considered.

So happy to see four swedish band at the list! And, as many has said, Crashdïet should be number one, as least in my opinion! Maybe Hardcore should be a bit higher as well? They are awesome live! Last but not least, why is Reckless Love even on the list?!

Kim. Reckless Love rules! WTF?
August 7, 2011 | Unregistered CommenterKenny Ozz
As fun as Steel Panther are I agree..I don't think a parody band should be number one. Nice to see Crashdiet so far up on the list; deservedly so.

Steel Panther piss on all the other bands on the list. In terms of technical talent, they piss on pretty much all bands around right now period. Plus it is a parody, but a fucking good one, and done with affection. A glam tune is a glam f****** tune, regardless of intent.
