Jizzy Pearl Quit LA Guns

Changes in the LA Guns camp it seems. Last night, Jizzy Pearl posted on his message board:

"After an amazing two years in L.A. Guns I have decided to move on. This decision was not based on anger or animosity-- I have nothing but respect for Tracii and the guys. They can and will carry on better than ever. I wish all good luck and good music in the future."

So what does this mean for the new LA Guns album, Acoustic Gypsy Live? I thought LA Guns was getting ready to tour behind the new record, now what? At any rate, I wish the band luck. Everyone knows I have mad respect for Tracii Guns.

Since we're talking about Jizzy, here's footage of his most epic performance of all time:

Lol...which retread singer will Tracii "hire" to be lead singer of his cover band now? Sorry Ally, you know how i feel about this version and its not good...especially since Jizzy is out. Paul Black anyone??? lol

This is a MAJOR blow to Tracii's version of LAG. They are already known as the B-team version and this just buries them further. Jizzy is a fantastic frontman and singer and replacing him will be near impossible. They completely bury themselves if they bring back Paul Black or some other nobody.

Really Not LA Guns. Tracii really needs to give it up and start something new

Here's an idea:

Get Phil Lewis to be his replacement singer!

And get the whole dang original line-up back! Everyone's still alive, right?

Otherwise, I'm with Jeff. He's gotta start over. He's got more talent and chops than most of the L.A. Sleazeglammerz. All he needs are the fresh ideas and an even better singer than Lewis. Maybe he can get a two-fer!

p.s. Really, Kenny O? To me they're both the "B" Team! Unless they re-unite, that's all both are!

I love Jizzy, but the Phil Lewis / Steve Riley version is the real LA Guns. That is the band Tracii left and that is the band that has been running without a break since the debut in 88. Tales from the Strip was a good effort.

Jizzy didn't fit here, and last time I saw them they piped in what sounded like "Phil's vocals" to make it sound like the Phil/Steve version. Yes, they were the 'scrub' LA Guns for sure. Traci should start fresh or join another band as the hired gun.

One more thing about all the posts that Tracii should start another band. Well he'd have to get away from alot of people that know who he is because hes burned every bridge hes crossed and is a dick to work with,,Mr Ego needs to grow up and finally get a real job

How about Marty Casey? Didn't they already have some stuff recorded, and something fell apart (don't remember the situation). I thought they were even going to call the release something other than LA Guns.

It would surely be something to see Dilana front LA Guns. I'm rooting for her. She wasn't bad in Rockstar Supernova. In fact way better than Lukas Rossi. Their problem was Gilby who is just a rhythm player, he can't play a lick regarding solos, no Slash indeed»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»!

P.S. It would be great to see Jizzy resurface in Velvet Revolver.
