Rival Sons, 'Keep On Swinging' -- New Song

Rival Sons will release the album Head Down on September 25. The first single from the album is "Keep on Swinging" and I love it! The band wrote their entire new album in only 20 days. I think Rival Sons is one of the most talented bands going these days.

The band will headline a UK tour starting on September 21.

The Delta Riggs from Australia are a similar kind of band (only ten times better in my opinion).

Cool !!! New music from a very good band, hope they hit the states soon. Is it glam ? Hell no. But that doesn't preclude anyone from expanding their musical horizons.

Ipod to drive to work song of the morning ~ Say What You Will by Fastway (glam enough for ya ?)

I agree with Geo2. How dare Aly sneak a non Glam song on her own site every other 20th entry.
FOR SHAME!!!!
Really dig RS. There are lots of bands that try to sound like they are retro but they end up sounding phony. RS are one of the ones that sound honest.

Hahaha!!! Yeah, Al!

I'm with Geo and Scott, except I really mean it!

However, I confess, I do like some Rival Sons stuff and it lives in harmony among the other tracks on my "NuMetal" Playlist, though my definition of Nu Metal is quite different than what is actually regarded as "Nu Metal" among Modern Rockers today.

I will happily check out Delta Riggs, Snoot! Thanks for the tip!

Note to GNR: The answer is "No!" however, "Say What You Will" by Fastway, just plain, flat out Rocks Out more bada*s than dang near every song on the planet! This song is easily in my Top 50 80's Hair Metal Classics of All Time!!! I put it right up there with "Cum On Feel The Noize" by Quiet Riot, Hagar's "There's Only One Way To Rock", "Do You Like It" by Kingdom Come, Treat's "Rev It Up" and "Hungry For Love" by Lion!

It's hard to believe it's the same Dave King on lead vocals that's now in the Irish band, Flogging Molly. He was in another fantastic 80's Hair Metal outfit, Katmandu!!! But none of this changes anything for "Say What You Will", simply one of THE most bad*ss songs ever, bar none!!!

Guys! I'm not saying that we can't expand musical horizons. I listen to some music that is not glam. But, this site IS called bringbackglam.com, isn't it?more & more, I'm reading posts about bands, or artists who are no where near glam, or do you think this is glam etc.

I'm just saying, that if you title the site bbg.com, let's stick to glam. If you want a general rock website, then let's call it generarock.com.

With ya, GEO.

It's just that alotta this stuff is actually as good as alotta the best Glam Metal we love and it's also from the same era. That' why I call it Hair Metal!
