Belladonna Covers Guns n' Roses

Italian noir-rock band Belladonna just released a really unique cover of "Sweet Child O' Mine." Not sure what you'll think of this, but I definitely like this cover a lot. Check it out and let me know what you think.

Not sure what to think about this cover. That said, I admire bands that, when they do covers, stretch the song beyond the original and make it their own. This cover fits the bill (in contrast with several metal band cover albums that have appeared as of late).

I would comment but I fell asleep 10 seconds in.

Didn 't give it a real chance. It is too mellow for me.

The first thing that arrives in my mind when I see this video is: the end part of The Rocky Horror Picture Show where Dr. Frank N. Furter sings "I'm Going Home" .. LOL!!! Overall - not sure.

I agree with Him. I typically enjoy when a band, regardless of the genre, takes one of our classics and creates something unique. I admire the creativity and I usually appreciate the cover if it's a great song.

Boooooring. Her accent isn't helping things either.

Although this may be more tolerable than the train wreck of "Sweet Child" I saw last weekend on TV. The glorified cover band Yukon Kornelius did it with Sebastian Bach singing. Not only was Bach not in form, the guitarist from the band moe. couldn't even play the song properly.

Coming soon to a mid-western Holiday Inn lounge/bar near you.

(I hope not.) I'm sorry, but this was abysmal.

Pros - Unique, builds as the song goes on, role reversal as a "she" singing about an "he", slower tempo actually works

Cons - that thick accent sounds like a russian mail order bride at a karoke bar in Tulsa, couple parts of the song matched to lyrics gets muddled.

I would like to hear a remake of this remake with a different voice... paging Lizzy Hale.... Lizzy Hale
