Rockstar Seems Like A Great Supergroup

Happy Memorial Day, Americans!

Have you heard about the band Rockstar? It is a new supergroup featuring members of Judas Priest, Alice Cooper, Ozzy Osbourne and the Scorpions. The band is touring Russia and are playing songs from their respective bands. I love this concept and I think the band sounds great.

"It's So Easy"

Members of Rockstar: Tim "Ripper" Owens, Keri Kelli, James Kottak, Rudy Sarzo and Teddy "Zig Zag" Andreadis.

"Big City Nights"

A group of very talented musicians fronted by one of the most annoying voices in rock/metal. Ripper Owens may have tons of vocal range, but he has not learned the art of adjusting his vocal delivery to the type of song he is singing. His vocals ruined Iced Earth, as well as a couple of Yngwie albums. If Halford had never left Priest, this guy would likely still be toiling away in cover bands. Honestly, I only made it through one verse of "big City Nights" solely because of the vocals.

very talented musicians and i definately love their bands with the exception of the scorpions...ughh. but supergroups arent my thing unless the band has CHEMISTRY, sin city all stars or sin city sinners are AMAZING live and they have chesmitry, you can put all the talent in the world together and it will suck if they arent feeling it.
