Behold Rare Alice Cooper Footage

Bask in the glory of rare Alice Cooper footage, filmed all the way back in 1971. The footage is from Historic Film Archive. This video is proof positive why Alice remains a Glam god. In fact, Alice Cooper at Rock the Bayou remains one of my favorite concerts.

Absolutely BRILLIANT!

That footage shows how integral the musicianship of Micheal Bruce, Glen Buxton, Dennis Dunnaway & Neal Smith were. This band was unstoppable, when not inebriated.

Going to see Alice next week. It's a shame it's not with the original band.

Here's the current band, I shot this a few months ago...

Alice will be forever ( or at least my forever) with his not so popular "Constrictor" album. Friend of mine had a Ford Fiesta:

tape deck wouldn't eject the tape but it had "auto-flip" which was big at the time so it just played that album over and over. Love it, and definitely love Alice !

I may not be able to remember much but each lyric of that tape is engrained in my brain, I'll probably be singing Thrill My Gorilla or Simple Disobedience as my born again christian son wipes my ass someday.

GNR. LMFAO!!!!!! Ain't it great how albums from "back in the day" (and all the stupidly illegal things we did while rocking to them) stay with us forever. Awesome find Ally! And Ace, have fun at Alice's show, because we both know he never lets a crowd down, regardless of who's in the band.(but how awesome would it be to see those original guys together again? Sad it's impossible due to Glen playing in God's personal house band)

Amazing, Alice remains a god. I got to finally see this monster live up front last night with Marilyn Manson. It blew my mind!!! Seeing two of the greatest performers on stage together on the encore for Im Eighteen!!!!!! Mixing schools out with another brick in the wall!!!! That was definately my top concert of all time. Alice is the godfather of glam and i dont care what gene simmons has to say about it. All about great old cooper, the godfather of rock n roll! much respect.
