Welcome To A Really Rare Cinderella Clip

We have our own Metalboy! to thank for this one! He sent me a link to this super rare clip of Cinderella doing "Shake Me" back in 1984. The clip is absolutely amazing. Check out how young Tom is... and oh his voice! Spectacular!

as I wrote, tom introduced us to his stage around 10:30pm...

A highlight for me was when he cued the song, "one for rock and roll" and fabled his story of the record label balking at putting a "country song" on a "cinderella album". Tom joked [to us] that country rock then became thee musical mainstream soon thereafter. And (therefore), he felt [a little bit] vindicated about argueing with the label for this song's inclusion.

very true, tom. but I also believe that you were better vindicated when your former record label released "cinderella gold" and 'one for rock and roll' was/is the first song one hears after hitting the "play" button.

again, thank you.

tom started his set with sick for the cure. what better way to start the show, than with youself nakedly exposed. thank goodness, he knows that wind of change (though an awesomely superior song and arranged by some guy in led zeppelin) is better left for the studio. tom keifer was the cure we were waiting for...and he delivered.

Wow, was I surprised to see that! I directed/edited that back in the 80's... and yes, I think $5 was the budget limit! We sure had fun making it though. If I had a copy in better shape I would post it for you but, I have no idea where the master for that one is today.
