Glorious Baby Jane

Clearly I just need to move to Gothenburg, Sweden. All the great sleaze bands are from that area, including Baby Jane. The positive of finding good Swedish bands is that they are generally really Glam -- or at least melodic. The negative is that very few of the Swedish sleaze acts ever tour anywhere near me. I love everything about the song "My Behavior" (video below). There's a gang chorus, some guitar solos and a singer with a bad attitude. In fact, the guys look like a group I'd hang out with if given the opportunity.

The single is from the 2012 release In the Spotlight. Check it out.

Good look, good name, good sounds, singer sounds not too bad - all in all i like.

if only BVB had a singer more like this i may like them more also.

Cheers for the new band - i shall search them out later to be added to the ipod and the collection.

Not bad! I think the singer's voice needs to grow on me a bit, but otherwise this is a cranker-upper.

This whole album is actually damn good. Been on my "playlist" for quite a while now. It is a shame these bands dont hit the states. I mean except for CD and Sister Sin (both whom i have seen live) i can't recall any other swede band who made the trip :(

I've got this, too, and though I agree with Allyson's assessment regarding Sweden overall (book me a one-way ticket, too.), these guys are just okay. Crash Diet and some of Sweden's other acts are way catchier, with hooks and riffs aplenty, something Baby Jane lacks. I like the solos, however, this one in particular.

But the real question is what about the hair. Metalboy you know damn well 90% of metal is hair and everything else just falls in to place.
