Rocklahoma 2014 Lineup Announced

Kid Rock, Staind, Twisted Sister and Kix are some of the big ones here... and Lynam too! Rocklahoma takes place in Pryor, Oklahoma on Memorial Day weekend which is May 23, 24, 25. What do you think?

Seems like all of the Spring festivals in the US have the same damn bands performing. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see Kix, Tom Keifer, Truckfighters and Motörhead but the rest is pretty much a snoozefest.

Well, I must say, that the Retrospect Stage is going to kick ass. This year Sam has outdone himself. Each and every band playing is really good. Station, Mystery, killer Dwarfs, Bai Bang, down n dirty, wicked,Aska, Ragdoll, and more. Plus KIX

Motörhead! Kix!

Still won't go. They'll be around on their own

Agree with Snoot. Other than KIX and Motörhead, ya got Texas Hippie Coalition, plus, as Brian L. flags, the other Retrospect Stage bands like Station, etc. The rest, well in Snoot's words, "Zzzzzz..." And like Kix Chix says, not worth it.

Save for the Retrospect stage, this fest has WAY lost it's Glam Lustre from days of yore.

p.s. Whatever people wanna say bad about Retrospect Records, I have gotten more great CDs from that label, the best being "Cobra Dane". You want GLAM on 11 with a Vince Neilian singer but 5 Octaves higher check 'em out on YouTube.

While i am not traveling all the way out to OK for this, i think it's cool KIX is back at Rocklahoma and say what you want about the lineup, it has a mix of new and old rock and will probably draw a lot of people. Interesting to see the lineups each day.

Think I'll just wait for the mighty Motorhead to come back to San Diego. Sadly, I think Motorhead's touring days are numbered. All of those years of Lemmy completely abusing his body with Jack Daniels and speed are catching up with him. They've already canceled their European tour for this year, so it'll be interesting to see if they even make it to Rocklahoma.

No love for Heaven's Basement (go ahead, sample "Nothing Left to Lose") How about Kyng (I recommend "I Dont Believe").

Extremely disappointing lineup ...Kix and Motörhead are about all that is worth seeing....used to be a great festival not so much this year..Kid a Rock as a headliner? Seriously?

I'll be going.. as I do every year. As much as people wanna say that Rocklahoma has went down hill, look at the numbers. Attendance has risen over the last couple of years with the shift in the line up. Even the Retrospect Stage has seen numbers rise. AEG doesn't put this show on to please everyone, they put it on to make money. Looking forward to another fun year in Oklahoma.

Twisted Sister, Motorhead, Kix, Hellyeah, Texas Hippie Coalition, Jackyl, Tom Keifer, and Five Finger Death Punch? Its an alright lineup. I would go to this in a heartbeat. It kills me when people complain about a festival lineup. Because there is usually thirty bands, some not so great, but most would be really cool. Where else can you see Kix and Motorhead on the same bill?????

The Biggest bands on this bill only play clubs the size of the Whiskey A Go Go in L.A.

They're going to have to add somebody with a still marginally big name to this roster if they don't want to take a bath financially.

I feel like I missed out on this festival when it was still growing and struggling and pulled in all the bands, across the board, that I wanted to see. That said, if they kept that model, they would be bankrupt now. That isn't me. That is what the creators said, if in less blunt terms.

I like Rock-it's perspective though: it is about AEG and about what you are willing to see. The packages are a mixed bag and, with the right perspective and a willingness to go and sample, you might end up enjoying yourself. I would kill to have been on the festival grounds a few short years ago. Now? Not so much. But still, a festival is about the music, and the fans, and the surroundings. I bet it will be a blast.

Creating a festival of note, and sustaining it, without the influence of a big-money corporation, is next to impossible (Rock n' America comes to mind). So you get what you get. Glad that some will enjoy it. More so, that you are lucky to live close to these sorts of festivals.

And I hope, for those attending, that Motorhead makes it. Bob is right . . . Lemmy's a legend, but his past is catching up with him. Like a lot of these older bands, the idols are fading and falling as nature (sturm und drang) takes its toll.

WICKED is headed for the top! I have been fortunate to live in the same town as these guys...and seen quite a few shows. Each time i see them...they are bigger and better from the previous show. They have a charisma about themselves that wins the audience over WHEREVER they play or show for a meet and greet. They love their fans and love meeting them ...unlike any other band I ever seen.
Seeing them perform...they are very energetic...and the music is all original and 101% ROCK 'N ROLL!!! If WICKED comes to your town...you don't want to pass it up...they really live up to their reputation!!!!!!

Tickets have sold faster this year than any previous year. I think the lineup is good. Kid Rock and FFDP are legit headliners imo.
