Joe Perry Announces Solo Tour

Joe Perry is going out on a short solo tour and he's taking fellow Aerosmith guitarist Brad Whitford with him and Gary Cherone too. There are VIP experiences available (of course). Joe is touring in support of Sweetzerland Manifesto. It will be interesting to see if he includes any of these particular solo tracks during Aerosmith's residency in Vegas this coming spring. I doubt it, but you never know.

Oh no. Cherone. He is going to be slapping himself and doing his thing. Great singer. Odd stage presence.

Shame Ralph Morman is no longer with us.

Too bad the tour wasn't a lot longer. Too bad Tyler,Hamilton, and Kramer weren't along for the festivities. Most of all, too bad they weren't ripping through their 1st 4 albums, front to back. I'd walk the 110 miles to Philly, in December, in a Pennsylvania blizzard for that. Lol

I'm a big Extreme guy and we have both Nuno and Cherone coming through the NY area on the same night! Nuno is on LI with Generation Axe and Cherone is with Perry in Midtown. Hmmmm, I may stay local and enjoy some Joe Perry. I don't think I can lose either way.

Haha!!, HIM!

As long as he doesn’t sing any of that EXTREME sh*t, I guess this will be okay.

p.s. As I’ve mentioned before, I saw Extreme at the Cat Club in NYC, which was home to the MTV Headbanger’s Ball freaks like me (including a lot of MTV and record people people) at the time. when the Hair Metal bands rolled in, and that was enough for me.

I even had drinks with the guy and Nuño after the show as my girlfriend at the time had dated Nuño before me but they remained friends. HIM, I can vouch for your observations regarding Cherone, as we were point blank with our knees against the stage which was waste high ... and then, of course talking to him, face-to-Face ... What a doofus nerd, but nevertheless a talented songwriter and singer (“Kid Ego”!) ...

p.s. The real irony here is Alice In Chains with Layne Stayley fronting the band opened for them, completely blowing Extreme off the stage before they even set foot on it, bahahaha!!!

Another one of those 'wish I was there' moments, Metalboy!

I said it before and I will say it again: we need to get a BBG! book published. There are too many stories that only we share with each other. It would be the perfect accompaniment to Ace's book (which I would gladly help out with if only he asked). I am being completely serious. Solicit some 'wish I was there' stories from posters and submit it to a publishing house that deals in this sort of thing (I can think of a couple off the top of my head).

“Date” wouldn’t be the word to describe it on either of our parts, BK, haha!!

BurgerKingYourWay wants to challenge Metallica's lusty backstory . . . but no one wants to write a book?!?! At least the King called 'Tallica "big dog" . . . I think that is a compliment, even if he ended up laughing (in that way that cute Millennial do).

Geesh. I am getting jaded.
