Dokken Announces Tour... With George Lynch

Dokken is going to tour this spring and summer... with George Lynch. The shows are being billed as Dokken with an encore performance by Lynch so I guess it won't actually be "classic" Dokken. Or maybe it will be, who knows. It is possible I am misunderstanding the Facebook announcement. At any rate, here are the announced dates so far and I would expect a few more.

Mar. 06 - Biloxi, KS @ Hard Rock Live
Mar. 07 - El Paso, TX @ Speaking Rock Entertainment Center
Mar. 08 - Midland, TX @ Wagner Noel Performing Arts Center
Mar. 28 - St. Charles, IL @ Arcada Theatre
Apr. 25 - Mesa, AZ @ Mesa Amphitheater
May 30 - Las Vegas, NV @ Fremont Street
Jun. 06 - Sunbury, PA @ "Live United Live" Spyglass Ridge Winery
Jun. 07 - St, Louis, MO @ Hollywood, Casino Amphitheater
Aug. 21-22 - West Hollywood, CA @ Whisky A Go Go
Sep. 19 - San Antonio, TX @ Rock Fest (Sunken Garden Theater)

Just as a point for clarification, the performance on June 6th at the Spyglass Ridge Winery in Sunbury, PA is an all day festival. Also on the line-up are: Warrant, Firehouse, Jack Russell's Great White, Kip Winger, Eric Martin w/ members of Trixter and April Wine. The United Way is hosting the event for charity. All proceeds go toward Youth Mental Health. Doors at 11am, show starts at 12pm.

Sounds like a (Don) Dokken set with Lynch coming out for an encore. Or am I mistaken?

If I am not mistaken, what the effing hell?!?! Why not Levin and Lynch? Heck, Levin could get the contracts in order!

I realize that Pilson is busy. I also realize, that after some health scares, Brown is retired or semi-retired. If anyone is normally too busy to tour with Dokken, it is Lnych (given that, contrary to long-standing rumors, the two of them seem to get along fine these days). But this sounds odd to me.

Who knows though? Not me. Perhaps this limited run of dates makes sense to all parties involved. Or perhaps Lynch has to spend the time during the main set handling calls from both Freeman and Logan. They guy _is_ busy!

Not that anyone cares (cares, cares, cares). "The" not "They."
