Sunday's Best: Week 18, 2022

Happy Mother's Day! Another week down. Last week was a long one for me so here's hoping the days ahead are a little less tedious.

I spent the day away from home, visiting my parents for the holiday. Now that I am home, I am going to pour through YouTube for more M3 Rock Festival videos. That's our Sunday's Best for this week. So far, I have found some nice clips of Tom Keifer, Blue Oyster Cult and all of Lizzy Borden's set! See below. All clips are from the same YouTuber named Jeff Perlin, so thanks and props to him!

I know basing anything off of a few YouTube videos is iffy. But Tom sounds good. Just wish he and LaBar had mended fences before the latter passed (I know, that was on LaBar). And I also wish that Jeff found a place for his band in this day and age. He sorta' decided to pull a B. Michaels the way he treats the band (his band . . . I get it) that brought him fame. I also sorta' think that might come down to, at least in part, one of his backup singers. Story as old as time!

I have always loved BOC. Never seen them. Glad they are still touring and putting out new music, even if I find some of the latter to be increasingly hit-or-miss. Love the stage name Buck Dharma!!!

I also think that Lizzy would have gone farther if he had been a touch less gimmicky. He has amazing pipes. I once met him briefly. Gracious. Kind to a fan. Then again, perhaps he thought the WASP/Cooper route was the road to riches. As with BOC, glad he is still around.

Thanks again for sharing this, Allyson. Has me excited for some more concerts.
