Saxon, 'Madame Guillotine' - New Video

Specifically for our good friend London, a video for the Saxon song "Madame Guillotine" from the new album Hell, Fire and Damnation. There's a whole lot of European history here - but why expect anything less from the mighty Saxon?

Like this song from the new album, less keen on the "AI" video.
I see in the YouTube notes that they will play on Wednesday in my hometown of Leeds.
I won't be there then, but hope to see them in Cincinnati in May... gotta make a carpooling deal with some other locals ;-)
And I guess it better be because for me, this song and around half of their new album, “Hell, Fire and Damnation” just doesn’t cut it!
I get the whole drop D thing is all the rage so I can see why they’ve jumped all over it for awhile now … But I’ll take their classic sound over this stuff any day!
Though the video is quite comedic (however, probably a lot funnier than Saxon intended), the song is a total borefest.
That said, there are some KILLER tracks on the album, such as the title track plus “There’s Something in Roswell”and “Pirates of the Airwaves”, my personal favorite.
Unfortunately, 3 or 4 tracks do not an album make!
Still, the songs I mentioned are priceless and Saxon will always remain one of all time faves!
Witches of Salem is where it's at.
