I Sure Hope Not - Motley Edition

I saw Nikki Sixx's online comments about upcoming Motley Crue music the other day and I sort of wrote it off as sarcasm. Media keeps picking up the Tweet (X?) below and taking it for gospel so maybe it really is true. (Insert shrug emoji here for good measure).

I know Beyonce just released a country album and good for her I suppose. That said, the last thing I want (or need!) is a Motley Crue country-hip hop fusion album. Just give me some new rock and call it a day!

As much as I can't stand Revolting Stew these days, I am going to give Frankie (can I call you "Frankie"?) the benefit of the doubt here. I have to assume he died again and couldn't post this on April 1 like every other chuckle-chuckle out there.

Then again, Jaun Cinco felt like the new stuff was the second coming of the band. Of course he did. With his guitar tucked near enough to his chin to pluck those wispy strands of goatee off his melon, the light increasingly shining through his thinning mop-top, I take his stance with more than two grains of salt too! He is employed by the brand. And he does what he is expected to do.

Whatever it is they release, it will be . . . released. And, though I really couldn't get into MM's latest, it will probably pale in comparison. Even if I don't like the style, I recognize the inspiration in MM's release. with Taco Two, it has been insipid and flaccid for so long that Frankie now needs to find new ways to get some fans to at least pay notice. Then again, it won't be yet another greatest hits album. So, good for you, Frankie. Call it Taints of Lost Angels.

Oh, and Bkallday, stop flexing. I don't do that thing I did anymore. You respond. You are getting crickets from me. I'm out for now.

And I hope everyone is doing well. Been nice posting for a couple of days. Back to the tent.
