Motley Crue Shares Footage Of '1981' Show

The other day, Motley Crue played a "secret show" at The Bowery Ballroom in New York City. The Crue dubbed themselves as 1981 for the gig. About 600 folks got to see the intimate concert, which is very cool! It isn't very often that a big band plays in such a tiny space. Really jealous of the fans who got in!

No comment from me but here are top comments from that Youtube link:

"This singing performance will be talked about for years to come. Incredible"

"The one time where I actually wish the singer was lip syncing, good lord that’s rough"

"Wonder if John Corabi is available"

"When cover bands sound better than the original it's time to hang it up."

"Vince out here trying to cover his McDonald's bill."

"Is it just me, or is the tempo like super slow? Also, Vince sounds worse than he did in 2015. So much for him getting "In Shape""

"They replaced the wrong member. Seriously."

"Absolutely brutal. Should have stayed retired in 2015."

"Holy god is that bad"

Absolute train wreck of a performance. Nothing new and well known are the issues, but it's just a cash grab now and god bless anyone who shells out hard earned money to see this farce. Musically it was fine albeit slowed down. John5 has zero personality and it a robot on stage. Great player however. They'd be better off just lip syncing and admitting it, or doing a avatar of Vince if they want to keep going.
