Monsters of Rock Cruise Announces Lineup

Holy cow! Crashdiet and Crazy Lixx on the same boat - I love it! Having Black Label Society as a headliner is interesting and The Darkness is a great get.
Looks like the official event website will be ready for bookings next month. The organizers promise more bands are coming. I'm sure this will be a blast.

That said, there are some interesting bands on this floating barge of flu. Loudness? Yes please. Disneyland after Dark? Of course. The Darkness are sure to be entertaining, even if they haven't really been able to follow up Last of Our Kind with another consistently solid slab (though Dreams on Toast does have its moments). Meniketti can still belt it out and shred it out. Matijevic still has some pipes. BLS is a fun goof on biker gang metal, if you can give in to the fiction of it all. Night Ranger? Of course they can still rock in . . . Great Stirrup Cay. And at least one member of Nelson will sign your tinfoil hat if you ask him nicely.
Thing is, I can't really see spending north of 2K on this. Others can and do and seem to have a ton of fun. So, me and my tent can eat rocks I guess. And I am fine with that.
I'll just sit next to my cardboard campfire and slowly chant "MZA" over and over again. It keeps the raccoons at bay.
I would absolutely kill to see them and with that much time to go until this ship sets sail, perhaps I can swing it, though as you mentioned, the 2 bucks is a little steep … Especially when you consider how thin (let’s be honest) the line up actually is.
Yeah, ya got The Darkness plus Crash Dïet and Crazy Lixx but ya need Pearcy/Di Martini and several others to make it worth it … Just whatever they do, please, no Tesla!
