A7X Burns The House Down

Avenged Sevenfold recently played live in Boston. The band is playing live on the back of their new album Hail to the King. The album is easily one of the best of the year. While I basically love every song on the new album, "Unholy Confessions" (below) from Waking the Fallen remains my favorite A7X song period. Indulge me. Not Glam, but it makes me oh-so-happy.

Manraze, 'I Surrender' -- Lyric Video

Manraze, the side project of Def Leppard guitarist Phil Collen, just released a lyric video for the track "I Surrender."

I'm trying to dig this band, but I don't know how I feel about this song. What do you think?

White Trash, 'Apple Pie' -- Live

White Trash performed together over the weekend. I always dug their song "Apple Pie." An underrated Glam classic, if you ask me. The performance wasn't the best of all time, but I'll still take it.

Steven Tyler Performs During Miss Universe Contest

Over the weekend, Steven Tyler performed "Dream On" during the Miss Universe contest. I like that he wore black and white stripes, a reference to the band's 70s roots.

The pageant took place Saturday night in Moscow. In case you're wondering, Miss Venezuela, Gabriela Isler won the crown.

You Can't Make This Up - Bret Michaels Style

Here's one for the "you can't make this up" file: Bret Michaels has his own cologne now. Called Roses & Thorns, Bret is selling the scent on his website for $60 bucks a bottle. What's more, he created the craziest, cheekiest, most ridiculous promo video for the stuff, too. I'll be honest, when I watched the commercial (or whatever it is) I laughed really hard for a really long time. I mean, we're talking theatre of the absurd here, people. At some point, we have to ask ourselves "Is this real life?" First Phil Lewis debuts some perfume, now Bret has his own scent. I think these guys are running out of things to monetize.

If you want a bottle of the perfume, you can pre-order. No word when the scent officially hits the streets.

Buckcherry Release Video for 'Wrath'

Buckcherry has a new video for their song "Wrath" from the album Confessions. The video continues the album's theme of the seven deadly sins.

Buckcherry seems like a great way to get the weekend started! I'm very glad it is Friday. I hope you all have a great day.
