ShipRocked 2026 Lineup Announced

Hard to believe, but ShipRocked will turn 16 next voyage. Headliners for the next cruise include Halestorm, Motionless in White and Knocked Loose. This lineup is right up my metalcore alley, but I know the Glam husband will want to pass. Plus we have a cruise credit on another line we have to use by next year or forefit, so that will happen. There's only so much money and vacation days to go around (sadly).
Ship sails January 25-31. Click to the post to learn more and to book.

I sure hope they can plus up this line-up cuz right now … LAME!!!
With the exception of Halestorm, as you mentioned, Jeff!
======================
Didn’t mind the two cruises I took. And, thankfully, I don’t get seasick. But I agree with you, Jeff (and now Metalboy!). This is a lame line-up. This is about as inviting as tickets for Titanic’s second voyage!
If I am reading the poster correctly, the best of the bunch, Halestorm, aren’t even on the cruise (they are just “shiprocked (or dry-docked) in Nassau”). I guess even Lzzy wasn’t interested in the Norovirus Midnight Buffet?!?!
Granted, Suicidal still bring it live when they stick to their glory days material. And Kittie have some solid songs (even if the Landers’ recent outing sounded forced). But I had to look up several of these bands just to make sure that ChatGPT wasn’t making stuff up. And, after looking up several, I just stopped. Best to let their fans love them.
Expecting people to shell out just south of 2K for the worst berth/rooms? Not sure anyone—save for all you Dinosaur Pile-Up fans out there!—is going to see this as a ‘stacked’ event. I guess this is a not-so-sweet-Sixteen.
Maybe they can get Kip to come out of metal retirement for their number seventeen.
One thing though, this bunch of passengers will be somewhat younger and more Metal than what ya got now on the Monsters of Rock Cruises, since that scene is leans in the more 80’s Hard Rock and Glam Metal side.
Even the more Metal acts who’ve been on MORC recently, are catchier than most of these bands as MORC’s had the likes of Saxon, Accept and Lizzy Borden on it, to name a few.
And needless to say, the MORC passengers are looking a little longer in the tooth these days, haha!! (I should know, as a MORC alumni, I’m turning 29 for the 36th time on Monday!
And I hope everyone else here has a suitably respectful and joyous Memorial Day. Speaking of which, I strongly urge everyone to watch Garland's latest film, Warfare (an interesting and gripping follow-up to his previous film, Civil War). Not as easy watch. Then again, what those who serve do is not easy. It reminded me that I am a lucky fool who gets to live on this particular speck of dirt on this floating marble of ours.
All my best to all of you.
