'Love Is Blind' Remix - David Coverdale

I stumbled on the remix of "Love Is Blind" a short while ago. I was actually looking for something else and David Coverdale was suggested for me. The remix version of the song is from the new album From Into The Light: Revisited, Remixed and Remastered.

Coverdale's voice is amazing here. The song was originally released in 2000 on the Coverdale solo effort called Into the Light. The album did not chart in America (big surprise considering the music scene in 2000) but it did okay in Coverdale's native UK. I like both the original and remix versions. What do you think?

Happy National Black Cat Day!

National Black Cat Day is celebrated annually on October 27th! Is there any animal more metal than a black cat? I think not.

I wanted to post this today to remind folks to keep their black cats inside this week - especially on Halloween night - because people can be monsters and do bad things to the ebony furry felines.

Does Every Rocker Have A Booze Brand Now?

Rick Nielsen of Cheap Trick has his own vodka line now. It's called ROCK N' Vodka. It's made in Europe and is vegan (of course) and gluten free. The bottle looks cool as hell and this is probably a nice gift for the Cheap Trick fan in your life. The holiday season is almost here.

Another Friday, another new Richie Kotzen clip! "These Doors" is the final video from the new album Nomad.

"These Doors" is probably my favorite track on Nomad. It is very upbeat and has a catchy chorus and a strong bass line, too!

Full Sonic Temple Festival Lineup Released

It's here: the full and massive Sonic Temple festival lineup. The fest will take place May 8 - 11 in Columbus, Ohio. This announcement also means single day passes are now available.

I already have a pass for Friday because I bought it special when Metallica was announced. The single day VIP tickets are around $200. You can get your passes through the link in the Facebook below. I am a little bummed that I won't be seeing Bad Omens on my day, but Metallica and Alice Cooper in one night is pretty amazing in my book. The rest is just icing on the metal cake!

Eddie Van Halen & Alex Van Halen - 'Unfinished/Between Us Two' - Full Song

Well this is incredible. We now have the full version of "Unfinished / Between Us Two," the last track that brothers Alex and Eddie Van Halen worked on before Eddie's death.

The song doesn't need vocals at all and maybe it was written in that vein. I've seen old online articles (well, message board posts) about the track that note Sammy Hagar had written some words for the music but they were scrapped. This just doesn't seem like a song that needs words to me.

The part starting at 4:15 is just so good when it comes to guitar work - all those classic Eddie Van Halen signatures are there. One note and you know who is playing.

Knowing that this track is the end really hits home and makes it all the more haunting.
