Pretty Boy Floyd will perform at the Whisky a Go-Go in Los Angeles in June. The band will be doing all of Motley Crue's Too Fast For Love. This is an interesting choice - but still a way for PBF to celebrate 35 years as a band.
Of course, VIP packages are available - and you've obviously got months to plan on attending this one.
Forty years in the making! RATT has a "new" single called "Reach for the Sky" - and it was originally written (or started) in 1982. The song was supposed to be on Out of the Cellar but it didn't happen and the track was shelved... until now.
Yes, the band's classic lineup plays on this track, including late guitarist Robbin Crosby! As soon as the song starts, you can tell this is classic RATT. Like, "Reach for the Sky" immediately transports you back to that debut-era sound. Just enjoy the dueling guitar solos - so fun! Also, Marq Torien, eventually of the Bulletboys, helped write the track. There's lot of Sunset Strip history here.
Tesla will release a new EP called All About Love on November 29th. The EP will feature four versions of the new song "All About Love" plus two more surprise tracks.
I'm not exactly sure why we need four different versions of the same song, but hey, new music is new music.
This is a limited-edition EP so it will be a collector's item I suppose.
Apparently Xounts makes fancy speakers... that are branded with all sorts of things like festivals and band names and whatever else you can think of. Now Skid Row has teamed up with Xounts for some light-up, branded speakers. These things look freaking cool.
When I went to check on the price, I discovered that there are a lot more branded covers including Sammy Hagar, Motley Crue, Iron Maiden, Alice Cooper and more. These don't come cheap, though: these are more than $800.
This is pretty freaking cool. Guitarist Nuno Bettencourt proves he can play anything - around the 7 minutes mark is Van Halen, "Hot For Teacher" and that is especially badass. Just a fun video and conversation.
