Def Leppard will release an official video for their new track "Just Like '73" tomorrow. Seems like the video will be animated. Comes out at 11 am ET on YouTube and socials.

Related: I picked up a Def Leppard ballcap on Saturday that I totally didn't need. It has leopard spots (of course it does) and Eric rolled his eyes when he saw it in my hand. I should do an inventory of all the band-related merchandise I own. It's probably a lot but nowhere near what some of you guys have!

Vixen Announces New Singer

Rosa Laricchiuta is the new singer for Vixen. She was on a Canadian singing talent show awhile back and also performs with Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Seems like a good fit from the performance videos. Good luck to Rosa!

New Hair Metal Doc Coming to Paramount+

Yet another hair metal documentary! This one is called Nöthin' But A Good Time: The Uncensored Story of 80s Hair Metal The three-part series is from MTV films. It is directed by Jeff Tremaine and will come out later this year. The film is based on the book of the same name.

I annually subscribe to Paramount+ (Big Brother live feeds!) so this is a no-brainer watch for me.

No RokIsland Fest In 2025

The news came out this morning: promoters are pausing RokIsland Fest for 2025. It isn't clear what prompted this decision but it was obvious something was going on when new dates and artists were not announced yet for the annual event. My guess is RokIsland is an expensive festival to produce, mostly because of its location in Key West, Florida... in winter. That is a crazy expensive time to visit the area and hotels are many hundreds of dollars each night. I guess we will see what the future holds.

Mr. Big, 'Up On You' -- New Video

There's a new video from Mr. Big for the song "Up On You." The song is on the upcoming album Ten due July 12 via Frontiers. So many drums and so much fun!

Highly Suspect, 'The Blue-Eyed Devil' -- New Song

No, Highly Suspect isn't a glam band or classic band. They are a rock band and they just dropped a new single called "The Blue-Eyed Devil." I'm sharing it with you today because I heard it on Octane and I love the guitar solos and I bet you will too! 

The song is on the upcoming album As Above, So Below. It will be out July 19 via Roadrunner.
